A Call Processing Label (also known as a Label Definition (LAD)) is an alternative method that can be used by Responsible Organizations (Resp Orgs) to represent a set of values in a Call Processing Record (CPR) node. This can be a way for the CPR in a record to contain more data than what the various CPR nodes can store within the CPR.
If any LADs are used in the CPR, the Customer Record (CAD) (also known as a CR) or the Template Record (TAD) (also known as a TR) must contain a LAD and have a label(s) defined on the LAD tab of the CR or TR pages. Each label name must begin with an asterisk (*) and may be up to 8 characters, including the asterisk. For Example: A label name of *MIDWEST can be created to represent the following States: Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan, instead of entering each State separately for the State (column) node in its own row. Please Note: The Call Processing Labels used on CPR are separate from the Areas of Service (AOS) labels used in the CAD portion of a CR or in the TAD portion of a TR.
The LAD(s), once defined on the LAD tab, can be used in the corresponding CPR node in the Configure Call Processing portion on the CPR tab
Each column in the routing section (here named “MAIN”) provides a drop down menu of valid values that will describe the contents of the column.
Add Row(s): To add a single or multiple row(s) to the page, the user should select the check box for the row(s) to add and then “Add Row” icon. “Add New Row(s)” pop-up window will be displayed with Number of Rows(s) text field. Enter a number in the text field and select the “Below” or “Above” radio button to create a new row above or below the selected row and then select the “Add” button. A new row will be added to the list of rows.
Delete Row(s): To delete an entire row or multiple rows, the user must first select the check box for the row(s) to delete, and then select the “Delete” icon. Once the delete is completed, a pop-up message, “Do you want to delete Row(s)?” will be displayed. Select the “Yes” button to delete the row(s). Row(s) will be deleted from the list of rows.
