In the example, TFNRegistry™ was presented with two criteria upon which to base its routing decision: NPA and NXX. These are known as the decision criteria or decision nodes. The TFNRegistry uses three additional criteria to take action for routing the call: the carrier, announcement and the destination telephone number. These are known as the action criteria or action nodes.
