TFNRegistry UI: What are the Fields, their Descriptions and Valid Values for the ENO/EAP Page?

Carrier (CIC)

Required field that identifies the Carrier Identification Code (CIC).

Valid 4-digit Carrier Identification Code. The CIC entered must have a GNA page created prior to creating a TFN Exception (ENO or EAP page).

Starting Toll-Free Number (partial or full)

This field is optional.

Identifies the Starting Toll-Free Numbers (TFNs) that can be used to help you, as an authorized user, narrow the search for notifications or approvals. A partial TFN or full TFN can be entered in this field.

Supports from 0 to 10 alphanumeric (digits 0 through 9 and/or alphas). Any value greater than 1 and less than 10 characters will default to 0 as a starting point. For example, if “86” is entered, the application will start the search with “8600000000”. Dashes between NPA-NXX and NXX-XXXX are optional.

Notification

Radio button to choose Notifications for entered CIC.

Either Notification or Approval must be selected depending on which type of exceptions the user wants to manage.

Approval

Radio button to choose Approvals for entered CIC.

Either Notification or Approval must be selected depending on which type of exceptions the user wants to manage.

Check box used to identify TFN(s) to be updated or deleted.

Selecting this box and then “Delete” takes precedence over any changes made to a record prior to or after the Delete Entry box is checked unless the check box is deselected by the user.

Please Note: All boxes can also be checked by the Select All box in the label row and deselect all selected boxes by unselecting the Select All box.

Select the check box to the left of a TFN to delete the checked TFN entry upon selecting Delete.

By selecting the check box, it has no effect on updates to the “Add”, “Change” and “Delete” check boxes when selecting the “Submit” button for an update.

Toll-Free Number

Specific TFNs that the carrier of the retrieved CIC setup CIC approval/ notification settings per the ENO/EAP page. CIC settings on ENO/EAP will override CIC settings on both the ENA and GNA pages. This is a required field when adding new TFNs, otherwise it is view-only.

• The TFNRegistry can store up to 239,970 TFNs per CIC for Notifications.
• The TFNRegistry can store up to 359,960 TFNs per CIC for Approvals.

NPA-NXX-XXXX

Valid 10-alphanumeric TFN, including alphas and optionally up to 2 dashes (-). Vanity numbers are supported for adding new numbers, but are re-displayed in numeric format after a retrieve. TFNs cannot be repeated under a single CIC.

Add

Identifies whether or not the Carrier will receive notification or approval when this CIC is added to routing on a record.

Check box – either selected to enable notification, or unchecked to disable notification.

Change

Identifies whether or not the Carrier will receive notification or approval when a record that uses this CIC changes its routing.

Check box – either selected to enable notification, or unchecked to disable notification.

Delete

Identifies whether or not the Carrier will receive notification when the CIC is deleted from the TFN (s) routing. This is applicable to notifications only, and not approvals.

Check box – either selected to enable notification, or unchecked to disable notification.
