TFNRegistry UI: What are the Destination Fields, their Descriptions and Valid Values for a PAD?

Destination Number

Required field. Destination telephone number(s) for the dialed number. Entries may be Toll-Free Numbers (TFNs) or Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) numbers.

Number or Mask Entry: Allows 10 alphanumeric, with optional two dashes.

Ex: NPA-NXX-XXXX

Number of Lines

The number of lines on which all the TFNs that use this Template Record (TAD) (also known as a TR) may terminate per each Number (for the Number entered on same line). Supports a value of 1-4 numeric (e.g., from 1 to 9999).

The #Lines value on the PR overrides (supersedes) the #Lines value on the TR. 

Up to 4 digits. Ex: 1 to 9999. This field is required.

LSO

Local Serving Office: Central Office providing local service to the end-customer (for the Number entered on this same input line).

Required field if a POTS number is entered in the Destination Number field on the same line. This field will be automatically populated by the application when the user selects Update or Save, if this field is blank and a POTS number is specified in the associated Destination Number field.

Optional field if the TFN is entered in the Destination Number field on the same line. Must be left blank if no Number is entered on the same line.

If the number is a POTS number, entry must be a 6 digit NPANXX.

If the number is a TFN, entry may be a:

• 3-digit NPA
• 6-digit NPANXX
• Blank

FSO

Foreign Serving Office: Central office that terminates the TFN’s service access line if different from LSO (for the Destination Number entered on the same input line).

Optional field if Destination Number is entered on same line. Otherwise, must be left blank.

NPANXX or Blank.
