The Target Record requires a Template Name as the Customer Record (CAD) (also known as a CR) is being converted to a Pointer Record (PAD) (also known as a PR) that can be used in multiple CRs. The Target Record contains the following on the Customer Record Selection (REC) page:
- Template Name: The Template Name that will be populated with the Source Record information.
- Now: Checking the “Now” box on right corner is available to set the Effective Date and Time to “Now”.
- Effective Date: The Effective Date of the Target Record. It must be in MM/DD/YYYY format. This can be manually updated or by selecting the “Calendar”
icon to select the date. - Effective Time: The Effective Time of the Target Record. This must be in the HH:MM AM/PM format.
Enter all the required details and then select the “Submit” button to complete the conversion from CR to PR. Once the conversion from CR to PR is complete, a message, “Customer Record Converted to Pointer Record Successfully” will be displayed at the top of the page.
