TFNRegistry UI: What are the Fields, their Descriptions and Valid Values for the GNA Page?

Carrier (CIC)

Identifies a valid Carrier Identification Code (CIC) known to the TFNRegistry.

4-digit CIC code

Added to Routing

Mandatory field that indicates the desired action when the carrier’s CIC is added to the routing for any record. Must choose either Notification or No Notification. Request Approval is optional if the carrier wants to approve every request when the CIC is added to routing for a record.

Possible Routing Change

Mandatory field that indicates the desired action when the Carrier’s CIC is involved in a routing change when a record is created or modified. Must choose either Notification or No Notification. Request Approval is optional if the Carrier wants to approve every request for a possible routing change.

Deleted from Routing at SCP (Working Number)

Mandatory field that indicates the desired action when the CIC is removed from routing in the record for a Working number.

Mandatory fields identify the desired means of receiving the online notifications. Online means that notification messages are sent to the email address specified.

Mandatory fields identify the desired means of receiving the online approval requests. Online means that notification messages are sent to the email address specified.

Unsolicited Notification (Domain Name)

The domain name address on which the Asynchronous Callback URL will be hosted. Default maximum of 4 Domains can be entered.

• String (The full domain name may not exceed a total length of 255 characters). Http or https (protocol) is not allowed. Ex: portal.somos.com

Unsolicited Notification (Port)

Defines the port on which the Asynchronous Callback URL will be listening. Default maximum of 1 Port per Domain can be entered.

Please Note: All Asynchronous Callback URLs can only be utilized via Port 443 with SSL/TLS encryption. The messages that are sent from the Production and Sandbox TFNRegistry are sent over the public internet.
