As authorized user, you can either create these settings for a Carrier (CIC) or update them after retrieving the General Notification and Approval Setup (GNA) page. In the "Delivery Methods to Carrier" portion of the GNA page, it provides you with the ability to setup the delivery method by either an Online (NOF or APR) method or through the Unsolicited Notification (NOF or APR) method. If you selected the Unsolicited Notification option, it includes fields for the domain name and port number for both Notify and Request Approval options. The delivery methods for notifications and approval requests must be setup separately whether or not you selected Notify or Request Approval.
- If the Online (NOF or APR) method has been selected, the notifications will be available on the Notification (NOF) page or the Carrier Approval (APR) page.
- To add an Unsolicited Notification, select the “Add”
icon to add the domain name and port number in the corresponding fields. If the “Unsolicited Notification” option has been selected, then notifications will be turned on.
Please Note: If you selected the Unsolicited Notification option, all Asynchronous Callback URLs can only be utilized via Port 443 with SSL/TLS encryption and all notifications for the Production and Sandbox Environments of the TFNRegistry will be sent over the Public Internet. To register your Asynchronous Callback URL(s) with Somos, please click here. |
After both “Carrier’s Desired Action From TFN Registry” and “Delivery Method to Carrier” are added on the page, you must select the “Submit” button to create the GNA page for the provided Carrier. Once the “Submit” button has been selected, a message stating, “General Notification & Approval Setup Created Successfully” will be displayed at the top of the GNA page.
