A Primary Contact, Company Administrator(s) or User Administrator(s) has the ability to search for users using the Somos® Portal Website (portal.somos.com). After successfully logging into the website, select the "Company Admin" section of the Home page. On the "Company Admin" page, the "User Search" page will automatically.
The "User Search" page provides the ability to search for users by completing one or more of the following fields: "Login ID", "Last Name", or "First Name", and/or by selecting one or more of drop down menus: "Role", "Permission", or "Environment".
User Advanced Search is available by selecting the [+] sign to expand the "Additional Filters" part of the "User Search" page. The additional filters include: "Resp Org ID", "Company Name", "Company", "Contact Type", "Address 1", "Address 2", "City", "State/Province", "Phone Number", "Zip Code", "Status", and "Email".
Once you have entered the desired search criteria on either search page, selecting the "Search" button will return the users matching the search criteria. To view the "User Information" page for a specific user, select the "Name" from the search result’s list which is located below the "Search" button. If only one user matches the entered search criteria, selecting the "Search" button will return the User Profile for the specific user.
Additionally, you may search for users by using the table which is located below the "Search" button. When the User Search page loads, a list of all your active users will appear in this table. This table makes it easy to view your User’s information such as their Name, Login ID, Role and Environments that the User has under your company. To access a User Profile, simply select the "Name" of the user and the User Profile for that user will appear in a new tab. If the user is not listed on the first page, you can page through multiple pages by using the pagination below the table. If you would like to select more than one User Profile, you may do so by selecting the checkbox to the left of the user’s name and either select the "Change Permissions" button to change the user’s permissions or export the list to Comma Separated Values (CSV) by selecting the "Export CSV File" link. If you would like to include the user(s) 4 digit security pin in the Export CSV file, select the "Include PIN on Export" option before selecting the "Export CSV File" link. You may also select a single user or multiple users and the "Disconnect User(s)" button to disconnect users from Somos.
