In Step 5 of the User Profile request, it provides you, as a Primary Contact, Company Administrator and User Administrator, with the ability to specify the Resp Org ID(s) and the associated data the new user will be allowed to view or update when performing administrative tasks in the TFNRegistry™ (tfnregistry.somos.com). To assign Resp Org ID Permissions for the new user, you can enter existing Resp Org ID(s) from your Entity or another Entity in the spaces provided. When entering the Resp Org ID(s) in the view or update fields, you may enter a complete 5 character Resp Org ID or your Entity ID followed by 3 asterisks. Entering your Entity ID followed by 3 asterisks will allow the new user permission to data associated with all Resp Org ID(s) under your Entity or another Entity. Please Note: A Login ID can have access to up to 500 Resp Org IDs for Update and 500 for View only permissions in the TFNRegistry.
Additionally, to assist you with the managing of multiple Resp Org ID Permissions for a user within the TFNRegistry, there is a "Download CSV File" link towards the bottom of the table on Step 5. Select the "Download CSV File" link to download the pre-formatted file with a file type of Comma Separated Values (CSV). Once you have completed updating the CSV file and saved it, please select the "Upload CSV File" button. Please Note: The CSV file on your desktop must be closed before uploading and saved in a CSV file type.
After completing all the desired permissions on the "Resp Org ID Permissions" portion of the page, please select the "Submit" button to complete the new user request. When selecting the "Submit" button, a window alert will appear offering the ability to configure the notification profile for the new user.
Upon completing or canceling the notification profile for the new user, you will receive a confirmation message stating, "Login ID is successfully updated on the Somos Portal Website and the TFNRegistry access permissions are pending processing by the Help Desk in the next 1-2 business days".
When Resp Org ID Permissions for the TFNRegistry are requested for Entities other than your Entity (also known as Cross Entity permissions), the request will need to be approved by the involved Resp Org Entities. Once you have submitted the request, the Resp Org's Primary Contact and/or Company Administrator(s) that are involved with the request will receive an email notification and a "Pending Task(s)" message on the Somos® Portal Website (portal.somos.com). This will notify the involved Resp Orgs to go into the Somos Portal Website and approve the request. After all involved Resp Org Entities approves the request, the request will be processed by the Help Desk.
Please Note: To access the AuctionRegistry™ via the TFNRegistry, the new user must have at least "NA - Toll-Free Number Search & Reserve" View and/or Update permissions. If the user has any Cross Entity permissions set up on Step 5, "Resp Org ID Permissions" of their User Profile, it will also apply to the AuctionRegistry.
