By selecting the “Carriers” drop down menu on a Customer Record (CAD) (also known as a CR), it shows that there are of 2 types of Carriers (i.e. Carriers route calls to Toll-Free Numbers (TFNs)):
- IntraLATA Carriers are list of carriers that is used at the querying Service Control Point (SCP) to route IntraLATA calls to the TFN destination.
- InterLATA Carriers are list of carriers that is used at the querying SCP to route InterLATA calls to the TFN destination.
By selecting the “Add” 
icon, a pop-up window “Choose from the list” will be displayed allowing the user to select the IntraLATA or InterLATA Carriers depending upon the icon that was selected. You may enter the Access Carrier Name Abbreviation (ACNA) or Carrier Identification Code (CIC) value in the search field to locate a specific Carrier or scroll down the list. Carriers are listed in alphabetical order. Also, you may only select from the Carriers with which your Responsible Organization (Resp Org) currently has Carrier Agreements. Carrier Agreements with Entities for CR Input (CAG) page is updated by the Resp Org managing the Carrier.
IntraLATA Carrier: To add the desired IntraLATA Carrier, select the check box next to the Carrier and then the “Select” button and the Carrier will be added to the IntraLATA Carrier as designated.

InterLATA Carrier: Similarly, you can add the InterLATA Carrier by selecting the check box to the left of the available InterLATA Carriers with the same method used for IntraLATA Carrier choice.

To delete a Carrier Value, you must select the check box to the left of the Carrier to be deleted. You must then select the “Delete” 
icon in the upper right corner of the IntraLATA Carrier or InterLATA Carrier as needed.
