The Customer Record Audit/Resend (CRA/CRR) capability helps you to detect and resolve discrepancies between Customer Records (CADs) (also known as CRs) stored in the TFNRegistry™ (tfnregistry.somos.com) and the Service Control Points' (SCPs’) CR databases with a CR Audit. You can request an audit of an activated CR for a particular Toll-Free Number (TFN) either globally (at all pertinent SCPs) or at one or more specific SCPs. To initiate a CR audit, the TFNRegistry sends a request to each targeted SCP.
The audit request message includes the latest version of the TFNRegistry's stored SCP CPR with instructions to compare it with the SCP’s own loaded copy. The SCP’s audit process compares the record content, including the Call Processing Record (CPR) call path, the Effective Dates and Times, and the Responsible Organizations (Resp Orgs) and indicates if any CPR discrepancies exist.
In a CR Audit, you may initiate a request to audit a CR to all or some pertinent SCPs in the CR’s Areas of Service (AOS) as indicated in the CR. CR Audits can be initiated by the following user groups (subject to user permissions):
- The Controlling (current, old) Resp Org of the CR
- The SCP Owner/Operators (SCP O/Os) for any CRs at the SCPs they control within their networks
- TFNRegistry Administrators (e.g. Somos support personnel and the Help Desk)
Other Resp Orgs cannot audit CRs if they do not control them.
In a CR Resend, you may initiate a request to resend a CR to all or some pertinent SCPs in the CR’s AOS as indicated in the CR. CR Resends can be initiated by the following user groups (subject to user permissions):
- The Controlling Resp Org of the CR
- The SCP O/Os for any CRs at the SCPs they control within their networks
- TFNRegistry Administrators
Other Resp Orgs cannot request a resend of CRs if they do not control them.
