In the Copy Customer Record pop-up window on the retrieved Customer Record (CAD) (also known as a CR) page, the Target Record can have the same Toll-Free Number (TFN) as the Source Record but with a different Effective Date and Time. It can also be a different TFN or Template Name for which the Source Record is a good (or exact) match of the CR desired for the Target Record. When copying a CR, the Target Record contains:
- Toll-Free Number/Template: (Required) The TFN or Template Name that you want to copy the Source Record to.
- Now: (Optional) There is a provision to select “Now” by checking the box to the right of the "Toll-Free Number/Template" field. This will set the Target Record to the Effective Date and Time of “Now”.
- Effective Date: (Required) The Effective Date of the Target Record. It must be in the standard MM/DD/YYYY format. This field can be manually entered or by selecting the "Calendar" icon to the right of the "Effective Date" field to choose the desired date. Please Note: If the check box under the "Now" option is selected, the "Effective Date/Time" fields are not required.
- Effective Time: (Optional) The Effective Time of the Target Record. The Effective Time of the new record that was copied from the existing Source Record.
