ROC System: What are the Upload Guidelines for an Incoming ROC Request via the RSR Page?

Upload Guidelines:

The file must be saved in an Excel workbook (.csv, .xls, .xlsx) file format.

• The Excel workbook should contain a Header row and a Data row(s).
• The Header row (column) should contain the following field names (delimited by a comma if using a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file type): “Toll-Free Number”, “RespOrgID”, “CurrentStatus”, “Approval” and “RejectNote” in separate columns.
• The “Toll-Free Number” column is required and must contain a single 10 Digit Toll-Free Number (TFN) per row.
• The “RespOrgID” column is required. If data is populated in the rows for this column, it must contain a single Controlling (current, old) Resp Org ID (5 alphanumeric characters) per row.
• The “CurrentStatus” column is required. If data is populated in the rows for this column, it must contain the current status of the TFN (a single status per row) or it must be left blank.
• The “Approval” column is required. It can contain the appropriate reason code(s) for approving (e.g. 00 (zero zero)) or declining it or it can also be left blank. If left blank, no action will be taken. If there are multiple reason codes for the same TFN, please separate them by a comma (e.g. 01, 02).
  • Important Note: Microsoft Excel will drop the leading zero when saving it as a CSV file type. To prevent the leading zero from being dropped, please add an apostrophe to the beginning of the reason code (e.g. ‘00 ('zero zero)) in the “Approval” column.
• The “Approval” column should contain the same sequence of the following reason codes delimited by comma.
• The “RejectNote” column is optional and if used, a note can be added in the corresponding data row.
