An Administrator uses the Network Provider-SCP Owner/Operator Company Codes (NCC) page to set up restrictions for a Network Service Provider (NSP) for routing across their network using CIC 0110 for Toll-Free Customer Records (CADs) (also known as CRs) controlled by other companies. An Administrator assigns the Company Codes (COs) to the NSP. Each Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) destination (termination) number NPA-NXX is assigned to an Operating Company Number (OCN) code and CO code. The OCN identifies either the Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier (ILEC) or the Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) that controls the NPA-NXX. The CO code identifies the ILEC that operates the central office switch and the Common Channel Signaling (CCS) Network serving the NPA-NXX.
To access the NCC page from the Landing Page or from any page, you can select the Menu icon (in the upper left corner), the “Network and SCP Administration” menu item and then the “Network Provider-SCP Owner/Operator Company Codes (NCC)” menu items. Once the "Network Provider SCP Owner/Operator Company Codes (NCC)" sub-menu item has been selected, the sub-menu item will be highlighted and the NCC page will be displayed.
