To view the Areas of Service (AOS) drop down menu, you must select the right arrow (>) to expand the section and display the 5 types of AOS: Networks, States, NPAs, LATAs, and Labels. Data can be entered in one or more of the AOS categories. An entry is required for at least one category. Each entry is validated. When you select each AOS type, the corresponding information will be populated accordingly.

An AOS label can represent more than one type of AOS. This type of label needs to be defined on all relevant AOS label types. For example, one label could represent several States and several NPAs. You can use only the AOS labels that are managed by the Controlling (current, old) Resp Org on the Template Record (TAD) (also known as a TR). For example, if the Controlling Resp Org is ZAT01, you can use an AOS label owned by ZAT02, but you cannot use an AOS label owned by BRSAC.
Please Note: If the record's Controlling Resp Org changes, the AOS label(s) might also need to change based on the restrictions on ownership of AOS labels.
Select the “List” icon to add a new AOS and a pop-up window unique to the AOS type will be displayed requesting the user to select the value for that type of AOS.
