To disconnect an Area of Service (AOS) Label Definitions (ASL), the ASL must be in an “Active” or in a “Pending” status. ASLs with a status of “Old” cannot be disconnected.
- The disconnection of an Active or Pending ASL can be completed by selecting the “Disconnect” icon.
- After the “Disconnect” icon has been selected, a new pop-up window will be displayed requesting a new Effective Date. Please Note: When creating a new AOS label, the Effective Date must be between the current date plus 1 day and one year from the current date. This will create a Disconnect ASL in a Pending status for the Effective Date.
- The TFNRegistry will change the status of the Disconnect ASL from Pending to Disconnect on the requested Effective Date.
- The Disconnected ASL record does not contain any values (i.e. definitions) for any type.
