Even though these services listed above may be reached via the Public Internet, Responsible Organizations (Resp Orgs) still need to be allowed through the Somos® firewall for security purposes. In order to access these services, Somos requires a Special Request to be submitted by the Resp Org. Please Note: Access to the Special Request is permission based. If you do not have access to this request, please contact your Primary Contact and/or Company Administrator(s) for assistance. The Special Request can be located by selecting the "Special Request" in the "Submit Requests" section of the Somos Portal Website (portal.somos.com).
When the Special Request is displayed, please enter the following information in the "Request Description" field for SFTP/SQL*NET and then select the "Submit" button:

- Resp Org ID or Entity ID: [(Insert your Resp Org ID, XXXXX or Entity ID, XX***)]
- Applications: [(SFTP, SQL*Net or Both)]
- Environment(s): [(Production/Disaster Recovery, Sandbox or All)]
- External IP Address: [(List the Public IP address(es), XXX.X.X.X)]
When the Special Request is displayed, please enter the following information in the "Request Description" field for the Number Status Report and then select the "Submit" button:

- Application: Number Status Report
- Environment: Production/Disaster Recovery
- External IP Address: [(List the Public IP address(es), XXX.X.X.X)]

After the request has been received by the Help Desk, Somos support personnel will process the request in the TFNRegistry™ Reporting. Once Somos support personnel have processed the request, the Help Desk will complete the Special Request and then an email notification will be sent to the submitter of the request.
