You can navigate to the Trouble Referral Number Query (TRQ) page from the Number Administration sub-menu. The TRQ page allows you to query the Responsible Organization (Resp Org) information for the specified Toll-Free Number(s) (TFN(s).)
For each TFN entered, the TFNRegistry™ displays the below information for each TFN, if available:
- Resp Org
- Trouble Referral Number
- Name of the Resp Org
The purpose of providing information from the TRQ page is to assist Resp Orgs to determine whom to contact regarding Customer Record (CAD) (also known as a CR) troubles for a given TFN. The TRQ page allows for the retrieval of multiple TFNs that are in the same or different NPAs via a single request. The maximum number of TFNs that can be retrieved via a single request is 10. To further facilitate querying specific TFNs, a single column list of TFNs that have been copied can be pasted directly into the "Toll-Free Number" field. After the list of TFNs have been entered, the information can be obtained by selecting the “Retrieve” button.
Upon a successful retrieve of the requested TFNs, a message stating that the retrieval was successful will be displayed at the top of the page. Each TFN, Resp Org, Trouble Referral # and Resp Org Name fields are populated in the "Results" portion of the page.
