In order to reactivate a Template Record (TAD) (also known as a TR) that has been disconnected from the TAD page, you must create a new TR. If you attempt to retrieve the disconnected TR via the Template Record Selection (TEC) page, you will receive an error message, "Template Name does not exist in TFN Registry (540001)".
