Client Development & Integration steps
The steps required to develop and implement the software which consumes with the ROC Web Service are as follows:
- The interested Resp Org need to register themselves with Somos for using the ROC Notification Subscriber Web Service Interface.
- The Resp Org is then provided with the technical specifications of the ROC Web Service.
- The Resp Org develops the Web Service per the ROC Notification Subscriber Web Service Interface Specification document.
- After the construction is complete, the Resp Org needs to conduct proper testing and ensure the Web Service can process the messages as per the schema/samples given in the specification and that the response XML are well formed and comply with the specifications.
- On completion of testing, notification will be enabled from the live Production environment. If there are any failures, an email will be sent to the registered notification email supplied during registration.
Resp Org Web Service Requirements
The primary requirements for the Resp Org Web Service are as follows:
- Create the Web Service which is compliant with the ROC Notification Subscriber specifications.
- Adhere to the business requirements for the messages.
- Send structured SOAP message response back to the ROC System after receiving a message.
- Receive log and process error messages.
