You can enter inputs for different types of Automation requests on the Automation Request Input (ARI) page, and then view the results in the Bulk / Automation Message Center (BMC) page. There are 7 types of Automation requests, you can make in the TFNRegistry™ (tfnregistry.somos.com):
- Multi Record Conversion to Pointer Record (MCP)
- Multi Number Copy (MNC)
- Multi Number Query (MNQ)
- Multi Number Spare (MSP)
- Multi Pointer Activation (MPA)
- Multi Record Disconnect (MND)
- Multi Resp Org Change (MRO)
Please Note:
- Automation Request Types of MCP, MNC, MSP, MPA, MND, and MRO require detailed validation in the TFNRegistry and the request(s) may take longer than an MNQ request.
- You can access the ARI Request Types either from the ARI page or directly from the Menu.
- To submit an ARI Request Type with more numbers than are allowed on the ARI page in the TFNRegistry UI, please click here for more information.
To access the ARI page from the Landing page or any page, you can select the Menu icon (in the upper left corner), the “System Automation” menu item and then the “Automation Request Input (ARI)” sub-menu item.
Once the “Automation Request Input” sub-menu item has been selected, the Multi Number Query (MNQ) page with the list of ARI Request Types will be displayed.
ARI Requests Submitted with More Than 5,000 TFNs
If you create an ARI request with more 5,000 TFNs, you will receive the following message, "You are seeing this message due to your request exceeding 5,000 numbers" in the "Toll-Free Numbers" field after uploading your list of TFNs.
Disclaimer: Any images in this article are intended to be used as a guide for educational purposes only and they may differ slightly from the Production Environment.
Please Note: The TFNRegistry will allow you to submit an ARI request of more than 5,000 TFNs in a single request; however, once the ARI request has been successfully submitted, the TFNRegistry will break the total amount of TFNs submitted into individual requests of 5,000 TFNs to be run at a time. You will receive a Bulk ID for each ARI request. You can view the results on the Bulk / Automation Message Center (BMC) page.
Please Note: It is strongly recommended not to copy and paste your list of TFNs (i.e. 5,000+) into this field as this can cause a delay.
If you create a bulk request for more than the maximum amount of TFNs, then an error message, “Maximum limit for Toll-Free Numbers exceeded (099042)” will be displayed after you selected the “Submit” button. See General Parameters on SPH Page for the maximum amount for each ARI request.
