The Spare Number Control Resp Org History Report provides information on Spare Toll-Free Numbers (TFNs) including: how long the TFN has been in a Spare status; frequency of turnover; and, the former Controlling Resp Orgs.
To view the report:
- On the Spare Number Control Resp Org History Report Landing page, the user can select the NPA, NXX Start Digit, NXX and No. of Resp Org Changes items from the corresponding drop down menu.
Selected Number of Rows
- As the user selects each filter, the “Selected Number of Rows” will dynamically refreshes and the number of data rows for the selected filters will be displayed (see Figure 107 Spare Number Control Resp Org History Selected Number of Rows).
Please Note: It is recommended to limit the size of the Selected Number of Rows to 200,000 for optimal performance.
Generate Preview (10 Rows)
- By selecting the “Generate Preview (10 Rows)” button, the user can preview the first 10 rows of the report. This button will be “grayed” out and displayed with a light blue background after the first time it was selected in a session (see Figure 108 Spare Number Control Resp Org History Preview). The preview data auto refreshes every time the user modifies the filters without the need to reselect the “Generate Preview (10 Rows)” button again.
Full Report Results
- By selecting the “Generate Full Report” button, the Results page of the full report will be displayed in another tab of the browser. The user can review or download the data on this page. The user can select the Toll-Free Number, Last Spared Date, Resp Org(s) and Include/Exclude filters available on this page (see Figure 109 Spare Number Control Resp Org History Full Report).
- The Resp Orgs(s) filter works in conjunction with the Include/Exclude filter. The user can enter one or more, 5 character Resp Org IDs in the Resp Org(s) field, separated by a comma or a space. You can cut and paste a list into the field as long as the format is maintained. Example: ZAT01,ZAT02,… ZAT01, ZAT02, … or ZAT01 ZAT02….
- By selecting the “Include” item from the list, the user can view the TFNs associated with the given Resp Org(s) (see Figure 110 Spare Number Control Resp Org History Report with Include Filter).
- By selecting the “Exclude” item from the list, the user can view the TFNs that are not associated with the given Resp Org(s) (see Figure 111 Spare Number Control Resp Org History Report with Exclude Filter).
- The user can select the Spare Number Control Resp Org tab at the top left corner of the page to view and modify the report again.

Identifies the 10-digit Toll-Free Number. |

Last Spared Date/Time |
Identifies the date and time at which the TFN moved to SPARE status for the last time. Will be same for all the rows of a TFN in the report. Will be blank if the TFN was never reserved. |

Days Spare Before Acquisition |
The number of days TFN was in SPARE status before acquisition by the Resp Org. Will be blank if the TFN was never reserved. |

Mode of Acquisition |
Indicates if the TFN was acquired by the Resp Org through a reservation or a Resp Org change. Possible Values:
Will be blank if the TFN was never reserved. |

Resp Org |
Control Resp Org of the TFN. Will be blank if the TFN was never reserved. One or more Resp Org can be selected, separated by comma. |

The date at which Resp Org received the TFN. Will be blank if the TFN was never reserved. |

Displays only the TFNs associated with the Resp Org(s), specified in the Resp Org field. |

Displays the TFNs that are not associated with the Resp Org(s), specified in the Resp Org field. |
Data Source Used to Create the Report
The “RHDB_RESPORG_SPARENUM_HIST” data source is used to create the Spare Number Control Resp Org History report. The fields used from this table are:
