An NPA-NXX to LATA (NXL) information can be retrieved in the following ways via the NXL page:
- By entering valid NPA and NXX manually with/without an Effective Date.
- By selecting the “List” icon with/without an Effective Date.
The Effective Date is an optional field. To retrieve the NPA-NXX-LATA information:
- On the NXL page, you can manually enter the NPA or select the “List” icon to view the list of NPAs. The “Choose from the list” pop-up window is displayed with the list of available NPAs. Please Note: If you are selecting the List icon, you should first select the NPA (on the left side) from the “Choose from the List” pop-up. This enables the NXX field on the page which is to the right of the NXX list.
- You can either enter the full or partial desired NPAs in the search box or select the desired NPA from the list.
- By selecting the desired NPA from the list, the NPA will be selected automatically in the NPA field.
- Then, you can manually enter the NXX or select the “List” icon to view the list of NXXs. The “Choose from the list” pop-up window is displayed with the list of available NXXs.
- You can either enter the full or partial desired NXXs in the search box or select the desired NXX from the list.
- By selecting the desired NXX from the list, the NXX will be selected automatically in the NXX field.
- By selecting the "Calendar" icon, you can select an Effective Date. If an Effective Date was supplied in the request, the NXL that matches that Effective Date is displayed (if it exists), else the NXL just prior to the requested Effective Date is displayed (if it exists), or else the NXL just after the provided Effective Date will be displayed.
- You must select the “Retrieve” button to retrieve and view the NPA-NXX information.
The Results portion of the NXL page will be displayed with the message, “NPA-NXX to LATA Information Retrieved Successfully” displayed at the top of the page. It provides the LATA, OCN and CO information with Effective Date and Status.
