TFNRegistry UI: What are the Fields, their Descriptions and Valid Values for the WRA Page?

Entity

2-character Responsible Organization (Resp Org) Entity ID.

Must be a valid 2-character Entity ID that exists in the TFNRegistry™.

Number Count

The count of the retrieved Entity’s Toll-Free Number (TFN) that they control that are in any of the following TFN statuses: Working, Assigned and Reserved.

Populated by the TFNRegistry.

The value is calculated by the TFNRegistry in near real-time.

Market Share

The percent of all TFN controlled by all Entities that are controlled by the retrieved Entity for numbers that are in any of the following TFN statuses:

Working, Assigned and Reserved. The TFN statuses that are counted for Market Share field will be the same TFN statuses that are counted for the Number Count.

Market Share is not applicable (N/A) when Manual Override is ‘On’.

Populated by the TFNRegistry.

The value is calculated weekly (once a week). The value supports up to 2 decimal places precision (014.25 %).

Market Share Allocation

A subset of the allowance of TFNs that the retrieved Entity is allowed to reserve within the current allocation interval (e.g., day or week) when Number Allocation field (on the Reservation Allocation Control (RMS) page; this page is only available to Administrators) is ‘On’ and provided Manual Allocation is ‘Off’. Market Share Allocation value is calculated by the TFNRegistry based on the following formula:

(Spare Count in RMS page) x (% Market Share Allowance of Spare in RMS page) x (the Entity’s % Market Share per the Reservation Allocation (WRA) page)) / (the number of weeks or days (depending on the allocation interval) to End Date of Allocation field on the RMS page).

Market Share Allocation is not applicable (N/A) when Manual Override is ‘On’.

Market Share Allocation is calculated regardless of whether Number Allocation is ‘On’ or ‘Off’, although the value is used by the TFNRegistry only when Number Allocation is ‘On’.

Fixed Allocation

A subset of the allowance of numbers that the retrieved Entity is allowed to reserve within the current allocation interval (e.g., day or week) when Number Allocation field (on the RMS page; this page is only available to Administrators) is ‘On’ and provided Manual Allocation is ‘Off’. Fixed Allocation value is calculated by the TFNRegistry based on the following formula:

((Spare Count in the RMS page) x (100% - % Market Share Allowance of Spare per RMS page) / (Entity Count in the RMS page)) / (number of days based on the allocation interval to End Date of Allocation field on the RMS page).

The Fixed Allocation field is not applicable (N/A) when Manual Override is ‘On’.

Populated by the TFNRegistry. Fixed Allocation is calculated regardless of whether Number Allocation is ‘On’ or ‘Off’, although the value is used by the TFNRegistry only when Number Allocation is ‘On’.

Manual Allocation

The quantity of TFNs that the retrieved Entity is allowed to reserve for the allocation interval (e.g., this week or this day) when Number Allocation is ‘On’ provided Manual Override is ‘On’. The value can be manually entered by Administrators based on direction from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

The value is not used by the TFNRegistry when Manual Override is ‘Off’. The value is not used by the TFNRegistry when Number Allocation is ‘Off’.

Range of values is from 0 to 999,999.

Manual Override

When ‘On’, that indicates the WRA page parameters are used for Number Allocation when Number Allocation is ‘On’.

The value is set in the RMS page and is shown as a read-only value in the WRA page.

Entity Limit

When Manual Override is set to ‘Off’: Entity Limit will equal the sum of (Fixed Allocation) + (Market Share Allocation) for the retrieved Entity for the allocation interval (e.g., per week or per day). When Manual Override is set to ‘On’: Entity Limit will equal the value in the Manual Allocation field.

Credit Added

The product of (the quantity of TFNs that the retrieved Entity spared last period (allocation interval) multiplied by (the Credit % value in the RMS page; this page is only available to Administrators).

The Credit Added field has historically been not applicable (N/A).

Adjusted Limit

The sum of (Entity Limit) + (Credit Added).

When Manual Override is set to ‘Off’: the value is calculated by the TFNRegistry as the sum of (Entity Limit) + (Credit Added).

When Manual Override is set to ‘On’: the value is calculated by the TFNRegistry as the sum of (Manual Allocation) + (Credit Added).

When Affiliation is ‘On’ for a specific NPA, the value in the Adjusted Limit field will display the Number Allocation reservation limit for that NPA at the Entity Affiliation level.

Numbers Reserved This Period

A count of TFN that the retrieved Entity reserved in the current period (allocation interval). This count is updated by the TFNRegistry in real time or near real time.

When Affiliation is ‘On’ for a specific NPA, the value in the Numbers Reserved. This Period field will display the count of TFNs reserved in that NPA (a) for all Entities in the Entity Affiliation when viewing the WRA page for a Primary Entity, or (b) for only the retrieved Entity when viewing the WRA page for a child Entity (a non-Primary Entity).

Remaining Allocation

A count of the remaining quantity of TFN that an Entity can still reserve for the given allocation period. The value is calculated as the (Adjusted Limit) minus the (Numbers Reserved This Period). This count is updated by the TFNRegistry in real time or near real time.

When Affiliation is ‘On’ for a specific NPA, the value in the Remaining Allocation field will display a count of TFNs that can be reserved in that NPA by any Entity within the Entity Affiliation before reaching the Number Allocation reservation limit for the Entity Affiliation.
