The Primary Contact, Company Administrator or a Special Approver (the Special Approver will need to have access to the Manage Users request) has the ability to modify their users on the Somos® Portal Website (portal.somos.com). The Manage Users request may be used to search, add, modify and manage multiple users that are under your company’s Resp Org ID’s. In the "Submit Requests" section, select the "Manage Users" request and a window will overlay with a message stating, "You are about to be redirected to the user administration pages. From there you will be able to search, modify, create and disconnect users within your organization. Please select one of the actions you would like to perform." If you do not wish to see this message again, select the "Do not show me again." option and select the "Continue" button. The "Continue" button will take you to the "Company Admin" section of the Somos Portal Website. The following menu link options are available to assist you with managing your users:
- User Search: Select this menu link to search for a user by "Login ID", "Role", "Last Name", "First Name", "Permission", and "Environment". User Advanced Search is available on the User Search page by selecting the plus sign [+] to expand the "Additional Filters" part of the page. The additional filters include: "Resp Org ID", "Company Name", "Contact Type", "Address 1", "Address 2", "City", "State", "Phone Number", "Zip Code", "Status", and "Email". After the "Search" button selected, the User Profile will be displayed and you may edit the necessary information. If there are multiple Login IDs based on the information you have entered, the search results will be displayed below the "Search" button.
- Add User: Select this menu link to add a new user to the Somos Portal Website and optionally add access to the TFNRegistry™ (tfnregistry.somos.com).
- Modify User: Select this menu link to edit a current user by entering their Login ID.
- Add Multiple Users via CSV: Select this menu link to add multiple users to the Somos Portal Website and optionally add access to the TFNRegistry. Please Note: The listed users will have matching permissions.
Note: Creating or modifying a user with a Billable type of access will render a charge on your next invoice. Please acknowledge that "I understand that an additional tariff fee will be applied for the creation or the reactivation of each Login ID" by placing a check box in the box to the left of this field on Step 2 (Website Permissions) of the User Profile. This acknowledgement is mandatory for a new or a reactivation of a User Profile if the “Billable” checkbox has been selected. If this option is left unchecked, then no Billable changes are applied to the User Profile.
