A Primary Contact, Company Administrator or User Administrator has the ability to disconnect user(s) using the Somos® Portal Website (portal.somos.com). After successfully logging into the website, on the "Company Admin" page, there are 2 options to disconnect a user. The first option to disconnect a user involves searching for a user.
After the user has been located, please select the "Disconnect" button towards the bottom of the "Modify User" page for the retrieved User Profile. When prompted, please enter the disconnect date and then select the "Submit" button. After successfully disconnecting the user, you will receive a confirmation message stating, "User XXXXXXXX disconnected successfully".
The second option to disconnect a user or multiple users from the "Company Admin" page which involves selecting "User Search" in the navigation menu located on the left side of the page. Disconnection of user(s) can be completed by searching for a user or a complete list of users is available below the "Search" button. The search for a user may be completed by selecting the plus sign [+] to expand the "Additional Filters" portion of the page and then entering the Resp Org ID in the corresponding field. Next, select the "Search" button and the results will be displayed below the "Search" button. After the user has been located, choose the desired user(s) by selecting the check box to the left of the "Name" from the list of available users and then selecting the "Disconnect User(s)" button located at the bottom of the page. When prompted, please enter the disconnect date and then select the "Disconnect User(s)" button. After successfully disconnecting the user(s), you will receive a confirmation message stating, "The selected user(s) XXXXXXXX, XXXXXXXX will be disconnected on the Somos Portal Website and any Application Access permissions are pending processing by the Help Desk in the next 1-2 business days".
