A Primary Contact, Company Administrator or User Administrator has the ability to manage multiple users using the Somos® Portal Website (portal.somos.com). After successfully logging into the website, once the "Company Admin" section is displayed, select the "User Search" menu in the navigation menu located on the left side of the page and then the [+] sign to expand the "Additional Filters" part of the page.
Once the "Additional Filters" has been expanded, select the Resp Org ID from the drop down menu. Next, select the "Search" button and the results will be displayed. The users for the specified Resp Org ID will be displayed with the following information: "Name", "Login ID", "Role" and "Environments". If the user profile was created with specific role and environment, they will be designated with a corresponding color. To modify a single user, select the user’s "Name" from the list and the user's profile will appear in a new browser tab. Please Note: This is a browser setting and may vary based on the browser used. To modify multiple users, place a check in the check box to the left of each of the user’s name and then select one of the 2 options:
- Change Permissions: Selecting this option provides the ability to remove the existing permissions and assign new permissions for the selected users. For additional assistance with these permissions, please click here.
Note: Creating or modifying a user with a Billable type of access will render a charge on your next invoice. Please acknowledge that "I understand that an additional tariff fee will be applied for the creation or the reactivation of each Login ID" by placing a check box in the box to the left of this field on Step 2 (Website Permissions) of the User Profile. This acknowledgement is mandatory for a new or a reactivation of a User Profile if the “Billable” checkbox has been selected. If this option is left unchecked, then no Billable changes are applied to the User Profile.
- Disconnect User(s): Selecting this option, provides the ability to disconnect the Login ID(s) associated with the selected users. The disconnect date will be populated with today’s date. For additional assistance with these permissions, please click here.
Upon completing one of the two options, the changes to the user(s) will automatically be performed on the Somos Portal Website and a notification will be sent to the Help Desk to complete the changes or disconnections within applications of the TFNRegistry™ (tfnregistry.somos.com). You may also export a list of users by selecting the "Export to CSV" link below the "Change Permissions" button. If you would like to include the user(s) 4 digit security pin, select the "Include PIN on Export" option before selecting the "Export to CSV" link.
