A Primary Contact, Company Administrator or User Administrator has the ability to add multiple users at once using Somos® Portal Website (portal.somos.com). After successfully logging into the website, select the "Company Admin" page, select "Add Multiple User(s) via CSV" in the navigation menu located on the left side of the page. Once the page is displayed, please create a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file with the user information for each new Login ID and upload the file by selecting the "Browse" button. For assistance with creating the CSV, please select the "Help" link to the right of the "How to Create a CSV" file on Step 1. Please Note: All Login ID(s) uploaded in the CSV file will have the same Resp Org ID, Company Name, Address information and Permissions. If the file was uploaded successfully, the new Login IDs will be listed below the "Add" and "Delete" buttons. If any modifications need to be made, these buttons can be used accordingly. On Step 1, please verify the following User Information:
- Company Name: This field is automatically selected based upon the Resp Org ID entered in the uploaded CSV file. The provided Resp Org ID will also pre-populate the following fields and can be modified as needed for the selected user(s):
- Address 1: This is the address 1 for your company’s address.
- Address 2: This is the address 2 for your company’s address.
- City: This is the city for your company’s address.
- State/Province: This is the state for your company’s address.
- Zip Code: This is the zip code for your company’s address.
- Notes: Please enter any additional notes for the User Profile as needed.
Once the User Information has been entered, please select the "Continue" button to proceed with Step 2 (Website Permissions) of the User Profile(s) request. Please select the User Role, Additional Permissions, User Type options for the users. If you selected a "Web User Only" User Type and the user(s) do not need access to Somos Applications, please select the "Submit" button to create the user(s). If you selected the "Billable (Application Access) User Type, please select the "Continue" button to proceed with Step 3 (Application Permissions) of this request.
Note: Creating a user with a Billable type of access will render a charge on your next invoice. Please acknowledge that "I understand that an additional tariff fee will be applied for the creation or the reactivation of each Login ID" by placing a check box in the box to the left of this field on Step 2 (Website Permissions) of the User Profile. This acknowledgement is mandatory for a new or a reactivation of a User Profile if the “Billable” checkbox has been selected. If this option is left unchecked, then no Billable changes are applied to the User Profile.
In Step 3 of the User Profile Request, please select the Application Access permissions for Somos’ Main Applications and/or Secondary Applications as needed. Once the Application Access permissions have been selected, please select the "Continue" button to proceed with Step 4 (Environment Permissions) of this request.
In Step 4 of this request, please select the Environment Permissions for Somos’ Main Applications and/or Secondary Applications as needed. Once the Environment Permissions have been selected, please select the "Continue" button to proceed with Step 5 (Resp Org ID Permissions) of this request.
In Step 5 of this request, please select the Resp Org ID Permissions for Somos’ Applications as needed. After completing all the desired permissions on the "Resp Org ID Permissions" portion of the page, please select the "Submit" button to complete the new user request. When selecting the "Submit" button, a window alert will appear offering the ability to configure the notification profile for the new user.
Please Note: To access the AuctionRegistry™ via the TFNRegistry™(tfnregistry.somos.com), the new user must have at least "NA - Toll-Free Number Search & Reserve" View and/or Update permissions. If the user has any Cross Entity permissions set up on Step 5, "Resp Org ID Permissions" of their User Profile, it will also apply to the AuctionRegistry.
Upon completing or canceling the notification profile for the new user, you will receive a confirmation message stating, "Login ID is successfully updated on the Somos Portal Website and any Application Access permissions are pending processing by the Help Desk in the next 1-2 business days".
